Hi! I'm glad you found your way here!

My name is Annalena and I love to paint.

I've been creative since I was a child and loved to paint. The colours and their consistency, the mixing and experimenting, switching off and feeling free - I've always enjoyed that.

I usually start a new artwork without any concrete ideas. I let myself be guided by my feelings and start with colours and painting materials that feel good and right.

Just do it - nothing has to, everything can!

Trough my grandfather I found access to art at an early age. I remember many days when we painted together. Whether with watercolour, acrylic or oil pastel - we always had fun doing it! We often sat in nature and painted landscapes or plants.

As I got older, I temporarily lost access to art. It was only many years later that I found my way back - lucky! One evening I suddenly had this thought:
I paint now!
Said and done. I just started painting and the next day and the day after and the following...

Finally, I rediscovered the joy of playing with colours. Finding my passion in abstract art was like a dream. From then on I was unstoppable.

What is painting for me?

For me, painting is peace and meditation. To follow my feelings, thoughts and my intuition, to be in the here and now and to create something beautiful. Wow this overwhelms me and fills my heart with joy.

Finally, to see and hear that my art also touches and pleases others as well is absolutely amazing for me.

In 2022 I realised: I want to share my art with everyone!
